Sympathy for Shirley Sulenski's Mother - Jean Ripley

NOTE OF SYMPATHY

The Association is saddened to inform you that REALTOR® Shirley Sulenski’s mother, Jean Ripley passed away at the age of 75 on Sunday, January 5th. Jean was a woman of great strength and she fought her cancer battle with unwavering support from her family and friends.

A funeral service, followed by a small reception will be held on Thursday, January 9th at 1:00 p.m. at Wellspring United Methodist Church located at 4871 Longhill Rd.  The family suggests that expressions of sympathy be made in Jean’s name to a charity of your choice.

The leadership and staff extend our heartfelt condolences to Shirley’s family and friends during this difficult time.

Note of Sympathy Leslie Stockman's Mother -Joyce Carvutto

 

NOTE OF SYMPATHY

The Association is saddened to inform you that Leslie Stockman’s mother-in-law, Joyce Carvutto passed away early this morning.  Leslie is a longtime Affiliate member with First Virginia Title & Escrow.

The service will be held on Tuesday, January 27th in Witlon, CT where Joyce lived most of her 92 years.  Joyce lived with Leslie and her husband for the past 6 years in the Williamsburg area.

Margaret “Peg” Swanenburg

The Association is saddened to inform you that former REALTOR® member, Margaret “Peg” Swanenburg, passed away on Saturday,  March 26th.

Peg was one of the Association’s long-standing members and a broker with New Dominion Realty & Associates.

Funeral arrangements are being made by the family and we will notify the membership as soon as we receive the details.

Condolences to the Family of Al Hannum

The Association is saddened to inform you that former REALTOR® member, Al Hannum, passed away suddenly yesterday morning.

Al Hannum received the Williamsburg Area Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics award in 1999 in addition to serving in many leadership positions within the organization.

Funeral arrangements are yet to be confirmed due to family members traveling outside the country.  The details will be disseminated as soon as we receive them.

The leadership and staff extend our heartfelt condolences to his wife Loretta and the entire Hannum family and friends during this difficult time. 

WAAR Former President Ralph DeRosa

The Association is saddened to inform you that former REALTOR® member, Ralph DeRosa, passed away suddenly on August 3, 2014.

Ralph was President of the Williamsburg Area Association of REALTORS® in 200l in addition to serving in many leadership positions within the organization.

The DeRosa family will be receiving friends and family on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Nelson Funeral Home between the hours of 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

The service will be held on Friday, August 8, 2014 at the Williamsburg Community Chapel at 10:00 a.m.
